Personal Information

Incoming Assistant Professor at HKUST (Guangzhou) from June 2026. Recruiting new PhD students for my incoming lab. If you are interested, contact me.

More details about the requirment of the program. Please see here.

I am a research fellow at the National University of Singapore and will join the Microelectronics Thrust at HKUST (Guangzhou) as an Assistant Professor in June 2026. I obtained my PhD degree from the School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS), where I research CPU/GPU architecture and simulation advised by Dr. Trevor E. Carlson.

Before joining NUS, I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Beihang University (BUAA), focusing on high-performance computing and compiler technology advised by Dr. Hailong Yang.

I have also closely collaborated with Dr. Yifan Sun from William & Mary on GPU architecture and simulation, as well as Dr. Xu Liu from North Carolina State University on high-performance computing.

My works have been integrated into several widely used simulation projects. For example, PacSim has been merged into Sniper, a well-known multi-core CPU simulator, and Photon has been incorporated into MGPUSim, a high performance GPU simulator that supports for multi-GPU simulation.
